Scan, scan, thank you ma'am!

Hey y'all!

Registering was a lot of fun! We ended up making three stops. Knowing John wasn't AS excited as I was (haha), I timed things out well. Before our first store (Pottery Barn) we made a run to Starbucks to get the man some caffeine. I adore what we registered for (my favorite is our ADORABLE monogrammed bedding)! It took quite a bit of time, since this is where the majority of our things are coming from. It was lunchtime so we ventured over to the food court to find a Five Guys!! John was thrilled. I've said the way to his heart is through things covered in chili-cheese or topped with bacon. After he refueled we were off to Macy's to register for our fine china, silver, and crystal. I also got to scan my coveted....KitchenAid Mixer!
here we go!
yaaaay! I'm totally going to be a good cook if I get this!

I'm IN LOVE with our place settings.  My main goal was to find things that were "timeless".  I don't want to look back with regret and say "that was SO 2012!"
After Macy's we were both exhausted!  We came back to my apartment, John watched some TV, and I took a mini nap. We were rejuvenated to make our final stop at Bed, Bath, and Beyond for the miscellaneous items.  We still have quite a bit of editing to do online, but I couldn't look at another slotted spoon!

We are both very pleased with our registries and very thankful we did it all in one day, while taking our time.  It was fun to imagine things in "our home" one day!   I'm so glad that John wants to be involved in the process and we really are having fun in planning the wedding and also that "happily ever after!"

Haha! I love the title of your post! I'm excited about registering, but I also know that it will be a tiring process. Your china is gorgeous! It definitely has that timeless look.

Can I just say I LOOOOOVE that you blogged about registering!!! I feel like no one has done that and it's a fun little process. And your shirt is cute. Obviously I love the Kitchen Aid mixer and use mine all of the time and the China is perfection. It would look be perfect for any occasion.
