I had the great plans of linking back up with Lauren for High Five for Friday and well that didn't exactly go as planned, but I'll share a few of my random Saturday morning thoughts with y'all!
Our Christmas cards arrived this week!I couldn't love them more! Last night I started addressing them and WOW it's taking a while. Going through our list I'm reminded of just how many wonderful people we have in our lives! I'm so excited about our first married Christmas and the first step - cards! I LOVE sending a receiving Christmas Cards. I love going to my mailbox each evening and seeing pictures and messages from friends and family. It's like opening up a gift every day! I've mentioned before my obsession with all things paper so this is a holiday tradition I never pass up!

All wrapped up by the wonderful ladies at Picsee! I'll have to share the final product with you all once they go out
I mentioned this earlier in the week that Cole Lee was sick, and I know I posted this pic already, but I can't get over how cuddly Cole Lee has been. I'm so excited about spending the weekend at home with my two boys!
Remember Christine the sweet friend and surprise bride? Her precious sister moved to DC recently. Christine is in town visiting Elizabeth for the weekend. I'm so excited for them to have sister time and it makes me miss my Kiki. Tonight we're going to dinner with them at a place that's always been special to John and I - Oyamel. It's a fun restaurant but it's also where we went for our first date - almost 3 years ago. Awe! A date with the "Mc-Shen-phersons" (a combo of their two last names) is always a good time! Love those girls!

Welcome to DC Steen!
I know I'm still a newlywed, and I'm supposed to feel this way, but I have been feeling so overly blessed by this sweet guy. He's been so supportive of me recently and I am so thankful that her a good smack in the face and say "trust me girl, 10 years from now you will totally understand". So.Incredibly.Blessed! Single ladies, NEVER SETTLE!

A mental picture I replay over and over - our first dance
Adding to how random this post is becoming, have any of you watched "Made in Chelsea" ? I just came across it while skimming through shows On Demand. I'm not sure yet if it'll become one of my weekly must watch shows, but it sure does make me feel like I'm back in college watching The Hills but with cool accents and lots of money.
Last weekend John and I saw Anna Karenina. It was AMAZING! I had never read the book, and didn't know alot of the background, so the story line totally drew me in. I HIGHLY recommend it. It's unbelievably theatrical, the scenery is amazing, and the wardrobe is over the top. It made want to wrap myself in fur and multi-strands of pearls. (sidenote: I must have some of her jewelry!)
Have a wonderful weekend!

there are a ton of things I love about the post, but I feel like I should turn over some cash for the hook on Made In Chelsea. I'll try to catch up and we can dish about it at Crimmas.
Oh my gosh, I love the picture of y'alls first dance! So precious! And I can't wait to see your Christmas cards!
P.S. I'm hosting a Kayce Hughes dress giveaway, so make sure you stop by and check it out!
