Some Goetz News

Almost three and half years ago I packed up my little Honda and left Tennessee to pursue my dream of working on Capitol Hill.  I was scared, excited, and overwhelmed with the thought of leaving my "safe place" of my hometown. Over the past three and half years I have grown more than I ever thought possible.

Professionally, I don't think I could have imagined the experiences I would have been able to be apart of.  I have loved my boss, my job, my coworkers, and the people I have been able to meet.  Personally, I have made some of the most amazing friends including the man I was fortunate enough to marry. To say I have changed from the day I moved to DC would be an understatement.

I have always prayed for direction in my life, in my work, and now for John and I as we make decisions.  We have prayed for direction in our next steps and recently those next steps have been revealed to us -

we are moving to...

We are so excited to see what is next in the wild and crazy journey we've been able to be apart of.  We're leaving behind some wonderful people, but I've always had a rule that I never say "goodbye" I just say "see ya later".  So the "see ya laters" this week will be hard, but our friends and co-workers are so supportive and encouraging. More updates to come. Next stop, Nashville!
